Greg is in the big red barn, building "temporary shelves" so that we can move the herbs from the seed room (1 of 2 places that we are currently growing seeds) into the breakfast room, by the sliding glass door. Get this: the herbs are growing "too quickly" and need real sunshine. Oh, and we need space for more seeds. We haven't even planted the tomatoes yet. We're going to start about 180 tomatoes. Yes, 1-8-0. Not a typo, a number.
We love farming.
My wife and I moved out here to do just what you are doing. right now we have to get our teenagers out of high school and off to college, buy in the mean time we are looking for land with no improvements, just a water source. Farm on!!!
